Personalized fitting

Eyewear fitting,
the finishing touch for comfort.

The comfort of your glasses is achieved through detailed adjustments to your face and gaze.

Cube's customization processPay attention to even the smallest differences
  1. Frame balance

We check left-right height, frame opening and face width, then adjust the basic shape for the material and construction.

    Frame balance
  2. Nose-pad adjustment

We adjust nose-pad height and contact, checking that the glasses neither slip nor press on the nose.

  3. Frame width and temple adjustment

We adjust the frame width, temple length and left-right balance. We fit the temples to the contours behind the ears and at the sides of the head, adjusting pressure to avoid excessive tightness.

  4. Angles and distances

With the glasses on, we check lens tilt, face wrap and eye-to-lens distance together.

  5. Pupil position and fitting height

We check pupil-to-lens alignment in a stable wearing position, using it for pre-production measurements and checking again after completion.

  6. Comfort and vision

You try the glasses at your usual distances and posture. We readjust if there is movement, pressure or visual discomfort.

Tilt the lens forward and backward

The lens is tilted when viewed from the side. Check the tilt of the frame by observing your usual gaze and wearing posture.

facial angle

angle that covers the face

When viewed from above, the left and right lens surfaces cover the face. We consider face width, frame shape, and lens design together.

distance between eye and lens

Distance between vertices

distance between eye and lens

This is the distance from the front of the cornea to the back of the lens. Check the positional relationship between the eyes and lenses by looking at the wearing position of the nose bridge and frame.

This is a conceptual diagram to aid understanding. Angle and distance are not actual ratios and do not represent set recommendations.

If your glasses feel uncomfortable

Tell us where and when you feel discomfort so we can check fit and vision in order.

If your glasses feel uncomfortable
  1. Discuss the discomfort

Tell us when and at what distance it occurs, and where the frame presses or slips.

  2. Check fit and vision

We check frame balance, wearing position and how you see through the lenses.

  3. Appropriate adjustments

We make feasible adjustments based on the cause, frame material and construction.

  4. Recheck after adjustment

Try the glasses to check the change; we advise on further consultation if needed.
