Myopia management for children
Changes in your child's vision,
Look beyond the prescription strength.
Growing up myopia is not simply a problem of increasing the prescription of glasses.
Initial consultation
We review your child’s age, existing glasses, family history and daily environment, including near work and outdoor activities.

Vision and refraction check
We check current vision and prescription, consider your child’s responses alongside measurements, and record a baseline.

Review of progression
When previous examination records are available, we compare them with current results, noting the dates and prescription changes.

Choosing myopia-management lenses
We explain lenses suited to the examination results and wearing conditions, including use and points to monitor for the child and parent.

Individual fitting measurements
After stabilizing the frame fit, ZEISS VISUFIT 1000 helps us check pupil position, fitting height and other measurements needed for production.

Production, fitting and wearing advice
We use the measurements to make the lenses and fit the glasses to your child’s face. We also explain wearing, care and daily habits.

Regular check-ups every 6 months
We regularly check changes in vision and prescription and how the lenses are worn. The next review and management plan are tailored to your child’s condition.

After the check, we compare changes together.
We compare earlier and current vision and prescription records on a graph to explain trends. Wearing conditions and daily habits are also reviewed when planning the next steps.
The graph in the illustration is an explanatory example, not an actual examination result or evidence of a management effect.
